Riley Time

Finally, Riley is getting his due. Shockingly, I know, I was never an Angel/Buffy shipper. Or Spuffy for that matter, I was always Team Riley. Riley was the one who truly could have made Buffy happy, but of course, it couldn’t work out. Buffy is far too complicated, and by complicated I mean drawn to men with fangs.

Since I was sad to see Riley go back in Season 5, it was great seeing him reappear in the Season 8 comics. It’s even greater that Jane Espenson is penning Riley’s very own one shot due out in August from Dark Horse. I can’t wait to see how Riley first got involved with Twilight and what else he’s been up to, especially what happened to his lame-ass wife.
